Ezrun 80A, problems.
 

First of all, Im using 2 - 8.4v Venoms 4200mah in parallel to power the unit. When I turn this sucker on it beeps 6 times at me and then I have controll over the vehecle.

Says nothing about this in the manual so Im just wondering if this is a bad thing. Just fooling around with it trying to set it up with my controller I found that it shuts off randomly from 3-10second of running at full throttle and the red light flashes. Even for that short time i ran it the motor seems to be getting a little to hot ( Im running the motor without a pinion on it, I don't know if it doesn't like running without any resistance on the shaft ).

Also I can't seem to get the motor to go in reverse ( I know this is a programming issue but to my knowledge it seems like I have it on the right setting.

Im kinda new to RC so any help or advice would be appreciated.
