Default XP3D Futaba extra servos

I recently bought an Associated SC8 and it came with a Futaba XP3D radio. Granted, at my earliest opportunity I will upgrade to a DSM unit. However, until that time, I am stuck with this one.

So my question is what type of servos can I run in other cars with this radio? Do they need to be Futaba or XP3D specific or can I use any receiver?

Thanks for your help.

I didnt think I should make a new thread so I dug up this one. I am looking at trying something that I saw. Here is the link http://formuladrc.forumotion.com/t18...d-xp3-ss-merge I was trying to figure out if there are any cheaper receivers that would work with this or is the ae receiver the only one. I have been using a flysky gt3b and there receivers were always the cheapest so it was a no brainer as to what receivers to buy. Needless to say I can't find the information I am looking for on 2.4G systems. Would any FHSS receiver work with the XP3D? How about this one? http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/s...igy_4X_TX.html Would it be cheaper to just get a module system like this one? http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/s...Module_RX.html Or am I just looking at a completely wrong option all together. I am mainly looking for a transmitter that can handle multiple vehicals, and has just over basic options. Stuff like expo and epa. Other than that I just club race and I dont need anything better.
