Default Making a harness? (was: Exactly what is this?)

EDIT:
Figured I would keep the same thread instead of making a new one, both are kinda related.

Hey all,

New to lipos and a bit confused to all the different balance plugs and would like to know what the following is?

Cheers.

I just bought a flight power v balancer, but it has no balancing boards/harness that would suit.

Was just wondering if anyone knows if there is a spicific type of board needed for the balancer?

Had this same ques only a few days ago. There's no adapters reaily available for this balancer, nothing shows on Tower's site - it comes setup to do Flightpower obviously and you need JST-XH or Align style.

The suggestion then was to call FP and ask them for help - 919-741-6310.

Be careful with that - I have a Blade and somewhere along the way, they have swapped polarity on the balance connection and my last batt would not work with teh Eflite charger.

It's worth calling FP and asking for help - I'm guessing there is something that will fit, just need to to let you know what it is.

Thanks for the replies.

So, I'm thinking about making a harness/balancer for the balancer for the previous mentioned plug.

Does anyone see the problem with getting a 6s harness for the balancer and a JST-XH balance board and cut the useless end off the harness and the useless end off the balance board and put the balancer side of the harness and balance board side harness together in the right configuration?

Or even a 2s flightpower harness, cut the highrate end off and put a normal JST-XH plug on in the right configuration?

As for the picture I have posted above, the wires are coloured:
(top 2 pics, L-R) Red, Blue, Black.

Does anyone know what the order is on the flightpower balancers so I can get them right?

Or would the blade one posted above actually work for this?

Cheers.
