Default syntesized and 2.4

I am considering the m8/11 as a next radio, but I don't want to buy $100 receivers for all my cars. So I am hoping to find one with a synthesized module. If I plan to upgrade to 2.4 later on, can I simply swap my modules back and forth? This way I can keep my nice cheaper fm 75 synthesized receivers in my bashers and have my 2.4 in my race cars while keeping one radio.

will this work?

Yes you can. I am currently using the M8 and have been switching between both the Novak and the Spectrum module. I have the Novak hooked up for the Virtual RC, since that's what I have left laying around and then switch to the Spectrum when I actually get to go out and drive the cars.

I picked up a Spektrum module/receiver when they first came and have never looked back!

You can pick up used Spektrum receivers on the trading forum or on ebay for around $50.

When you get a Spektrum, and go to the track to run, you'll understand.
