Chaps,
just got myself a m11 (not the x i got a sweeet deal on the old one
)
i want to use my charge lead however my old transmitter was a spektrum dx3r, that needed the reversed polarity lead
does the sanwa/airtronics radio need normal polarity to be charged ie, i just stick the red in the black and the black in the red and im all good

As far as (reverse) polarity of the charging lead goes, I don't know, but it's recommended to charge your batteries outside your transmitter. I know of some guys who could not turn their M11 radios on after charging their batteries inside their transmitter 'cause a little fuse on the pcb was blown doing so.
I never leave the batteries inside my radio for charging.
Great Radio btw.

The M11 has a polarity independent connector between the radio and the battery tray so you can just swap the leads around to get the polarity correct. I have to run my charger with red-to-black because I have the connector plugged in "backwards".
I have never really thought about the perils of charging the batteries in the radio; might have to change my ways as well...

I have a JR charger for Spectrum and a Futaba charger for my M11 never really thought about why they didn't use the same one. From what you guys are saying the M11 polarity is opposite the Spectrum? If so I have to make sure me or my son don't plug the wrong one in. Where is the Fuse you are talking about?
