Default Battery Wire Guage.

I plan on making a deans series adaptor instead of buying one of Ebay, heard bad things about the fake deans plugs that they come with.
Wondering what guage wire i should use to connect them, not very clued up on wires, lucky i've got a dab hand for soldering :P

Thanks.

I made both series and parallel connectors using real Dean's plugs and 12ga Dean's wire. I'm running both 10 and 8th scale electrics. If you're just doing 10th scale or smaller, prob can run 14ga wire. Use some good quality, RC hobby based silicone wire.

Do you need flexibility? The higher the strand count the more flexible the wire is. 12 gauge should be sufficient for anything but 14 gauge is easier to work with when soldering onto Deans.
