Default Looking for the proper ESC for this motor

I just purchased a new sensored brushless motor from associated. this will be my first brushless motor and I'm looking for a compatable ESC. Here is all the motor info below. I'd like to keep the cost of the ESC down (preferably below $150) but suggestions for higher priced ESCs are welcome.
Thanks for the help.

I don't know that you will find a NEW sensored brushless esc that will handle a 4.5 for under $150. You would need a Novak GTB, LRP Sphere, Tekin and I'm sure there are a couple others that will work but all are over your $150 new.

Ya, you kind of put yourself in a spot by getting such a hot motor. There are more (and cheaper) choices when you run higher turn motors. A 4.5 is awful fast...more than likely too fast. What's it for?

Novak offers re-manufactured GTBs (w/new 120 day warranty) We will be adding re-mfg SLYDRs soon. The SLYDERS are an upgraded GTB with more programming options.:

Novak Re-Manufactured Products

We recently added our SS Pro spec motors to the Re-Mfg Store.

The Slyder looks like a great esc but I hope that it is compatible with other sensored brushless motors unlike the Havoc that runs only Novak motors due to the heat sensor being in the motor so it won't program with Orion,Lrp,ect. motors. Been their done that and had to sell it. The remanufactured GTBs are a great deal and will run all the other sensored motors.

haha, ya... I kinda jumped into the water without knowing how deep it is.
I'm getting a SC10. need the electronics and when I was surfing the AE website I saw the motor for sale for only 45 bucks! so I jumped on it. Afterward, I read a review of the truck and it was tested using a 13.5 turn motor, which was too much for the truck. Needless to say I'm not building a shortcourse touring truck so I kicked myself for that one. I'm goin to cancel the order and do my homework before I go to RCX.

Thanks to all of you
