Default DX3R multi models?

I'm trying to setup a couple models for 1 receiver, but I have to rebind every time I switch model names while using the same receiver. Is there a way to do it without having to rebind?

rebind everytime??? WHY??
everytime you change cars with one receiver or everytime you run the same car with the same receiver.. You can't mean you rebind every time you run the same car with the same set-up.

This is due to ModelMatch. I discovered this the first time I ran Stock and Mod 1/10-scale stadium truck and wanted to change profiles because of the different throttle and brake curves with the different class. It prevents runaways when you select the wrong model but it also has the side effect you mentioned.

I know all about model match. I was simply looking at his comment about rebinding...... "I rebind it everytime before I use my car"

Probably just to make sure that it's properly bound from running other models...

Remember to keep the transmitter over 3.3 volts, or it won't connect to the RX!

Right, but he also stated he was using 1 receiver with multiple models, meaning 1 receiver with multiple model locations in his transmitter. Hence the ModelMatch issue.

I just read this on spektrums website...

Notice to DX3R users about “losing bind”

We’ve become aware of several reports of the DX3R randomly “losing bind." Investigation has led us to determine that there is a possibility, in some systems, that bind information can be deleted when switching models within the transmitter (from say model one to model two) or during power up. This issue is isolated to a small number of early radios – those with one of the following codes (last 4 digits located under the battery door ) : 0712, 0801, 0802. A quick fix is to simply re-bind the receiver. Be assured that the issue will not, and cannot, affect your RF link during operation. If you are experiencing the “losing bind” with a radio that has one of these three codes and would like to have it repaired, please contact the Horizon Support Team at 877.504.0233. All of us at Spektrum sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this might cause.
is this what you guys are referring to?

Nope, has nothing to do with that. That was a software issue with the radio that has been corrected. ModelMatch, as I stated, is a safety feature designed to prevent runaways in the event that the wrong model is selected from the menu.
