how long to charge?
#2
battery capacity/1000 = charge rate
example:
3000mah/1000 = 3A
1100mah/1000 = 1.1A
4200mah/1000 = 4.2A
etc...
Your battery should take approximately 1 hour to charge if set to the proper amperage.

You can figure an approximate charge time by taking the batt capacity and dividing by the charge rate in milliamps. Example - 3000mah charging at 5amps
3000/5000 = 0.6hr or 36min.
This is approx cause it assumes batt is empty which it never is and ignores the loss due to internal resistance. It will give you some idea however. This is more for NiMH and NiCds though.
Lipo is diff due to its 2 step charging protocol, but if you're charging at 1C, expect about an hour.
