Problem with Specktrum SR3000 receiver

Hey guys,
My problem is this.... I just got a DX 3.0 radio w/ receiver and put it in my Slash. Love it. So I purchased an additional SR3000 receiver to use the radio in my T4. Now the truck will not steer correctly to one side. The servo has lost the ability to fully rotate to the left side. I've tried 2 different servo's, so that rules that out. It worked fine on my old radio anyways. I've tried every available steering adjustment to my knowledge, and the local pros at the track can't figure it out either.
Does anyone have a solution suggestion or is it just a bum receiver ?

Is the steering centered or close with centered trims to start with? Reason I ask is the center position of the servos with our Spektrum stuff is different than with my older radios, just wondering if you are using up travel to one side with trim. Might need to move the servo horn to line things up.
Perhaps try switching the 2 receivers?

The radio and original receiver were bought used from a friend who had only used them a couple times. The problematic receiver is brand new. I've tried mounting the servo horn in different locations but I still get limited rotation in one direction. I'm going to try switching out the receivers to see what happens. Like I said, I've had the local pro guys at the track take a look at it, and everyone seems to be confused as to what is causing the problem. Thank you for the responses.

I have the exact same problem when trying to turn right.
I have it installed in a Losi xxx-t cr, and have thoroughly read the manual. I notice that I cannot get maximum turn range on right hand turns. When I installed the servo, I connected the arm into the servo so it was verticle (straight up). This gives me fairly straight steering with only minor adjustment. This is giving me maximum range to the left, but can't get more range to the right. I figure there must be some way to tell the servo to move further in the range. When I power off the servo, and turn the servo with my hand, it has more range to the right (the range I'm looking for).
I'm guessing there is a transmitter setting I haven't figured out, although I already have EPA set at maximum 125% for both Left and Right.
I'm reading above that maybe it's a bad reciever???

Spline (?) - one width of the servo horn, or one tick of the grooves where it screws in?

The reason this needs to be done is the servo end is higher than the bell crank end of the link, it goes down in each direction, forcing the wheels to the left a little each way. By starting down a little it balances out better, takes away some of the left, and adds to the right.
You can also move the servo slightly left to right on the 4 mounting bolts on the little posts to help center everything, in addition to adjusting the length of the link (do first) going to the servo arm to get back to center.
