Default What charger?

What charger do you guys run for lipos? I want something that can charge up to 6 cell. Yeah, for some reason I bet I am missing some important information regarding this. I am really new to Lipos, so if I need to include any information, let me know. I also need one that I can charge via AC/DC. Haha, thanks guys.

For 6S I use the MRC 989 and the Venom Pro. There's lots of others though.

http://www.maxamps.com/EOS0606i-AC-DC.htm dont look at anythin else when doin stuff that big. sorry but i will never suggest a MRC charger since most lipo batt makers still stipulate not charging with them due to possible (and drastic) consequences. this 1 is ac/dc

How big is your 6s lipo? Might need something bigger than the typical 50 watt 1/10 scale charger.

I assume your\'re talking 6cell lipo? There is nothing wrong with an 0606i charger. It is a 50watt output charger though so for a 6S lipo at 22.2v, that charger will limit charging current to stay under the 50watt limit, You'll wind up with a charge rate of about 2amps. If you're looking at a high capacity 6S lipo, it's going to take some time to charge.

Most AC/DC chargers are 50watt - there's a 70watt one coming out, but that won't do too much better for a 6S. For AC/DC there really aren't any other options. Just be prepared to spend some time charging.

If you want the fastest way to charge a 6S, you need to look at a higher power output dc powered charger and a power supply.
