Default Nomadio React Radio System

Im looking at a new radio and came across this radio and it seemed to have a lot of nice features. Just curious if anyone is using it and if they like it

Cant say I liked my nomadio. Sold it. And the receiver is very large. Compared to some of the spectrum receivers its huge.

It works with spektrum receivers though... My friend runs the spektrum micros with his React.

I had one, liked it, still sold it. Receiver is very large, if you try to use a spektrum one you'll need to rebind a lot. But there are no product updates anymore. They focus on the military product, wich is noble but not for our needs...Service is still up, can't say anything negative about that. But after 2 years of racing I changed to a Kopropo Helios, I like to change radio's before they give any kind of trouble or glitches.

Default receivers

yea the react reciever is kind of big,and the spectrum recievers are crap.thats why you have to rebind them.my react is over 2 years old never once has it lost bind or let the car battery go dead with out letting me know then going into failsafe.read the spectrum thread.says alot.there is a thread on futaba's spectrum problems.who was the first to come out with the 4.8 volt system?spread spectum?all other companys are still trying to catch up and are having problems doing it.the react is still the best radio you can own,not the newest or the cutest.just the most reliable connection and all the fetures you could ever ask for in a surface radio.

I have been using the Nomadio system starting with the pre-production prototype Sensor. I am pretty much spoiled by the the capabilities of this system. Once a person takes the time to learn, understand , and apply the features the Nomadio offers, it's pretty hard to consider going back to anything else. OTOH, of late, parts support has been kind of hit or miss due to Nomadio's military contracts and white space wifi developement. Thankfully, the V2 transcievers are pretty robust and I have only had to replace them as a result of impact damage.

They (nomadio) are really great radios, comfortable and well made. That is why you see so many serious racers using them.

was looking for a 2.4 and friends recommended the REACT. bought a used set and loved it since.

running 3 cars with it and still got space to run 37 more with the react
(with the awesome 40 model memory which i dont think i will ever used them up )

easy to use, light, 4.8v, settings programmable through PC, no broken antenna ever and can bind with spektrum DSM1 rx.

my 2 cents.

I guess just like Futaba, JR and Airtronics are so great that when the lives of are soldiers are at stake they use Nomadio!!!!!!!!!!!!! I don't think Airtronics is piloting any million dollar drone planes last I check and since my buddy was in Iraq 4 times and flies these planes and he said they use Nomadio I guess that says it all.
