Default Velineon ESC

I just started using a velineon esc/motor (vxl) in one of my 1/10 scale buggies and I'm having some problems. The first issue is that it flashes the red light once then twice, and then three times over and over. It seems like it is stuck in programming mode. The second issue is when it is on with a solid green light that there is no power going to the motor. I am using good quality batteries and I verified that the motor works by using a different speed control. I'm hoping someone has been through this and can steer me in the right direction.
Thanks

umm the esc is asking for you to configure the endpoints on your radio system. If it keeps going into programming mode, you probably have an issue with your button being stuck in. You can easily fix this by opening the esc and use a number 2 philips to widen the button hole.

First off thanks for the reply! I tried that with no luck. The button was restricted by the hole size and after smoothing out the hole it continued with the same issue. I have contacted Traxxas and they seem more than willing to help! Can"t beat good customer service.
