Default what did i kill?

The sensor wire came out of my out of the motor on my TC Spec. Now all three of my motors heat up immediately and even smoke. Am i SOL and in need of a new speedo?

I've seen several LRP Spheres blow motors immediately when the sensor wire comes out.

You should be able to send it in and pay for a repair/replacement at a reasonable cost. If not, you should seriously consider switching to another brand... Novak only charges around $50 for non-warranty work on their GTB.

From what i finally found on another thread ( i really dont like the search on RC tech, google gave me what i wanted on rctech!) it may just be the motor. From what i red as soon as it come out the motor is fried and that has happened to me before. It didnt seem to cause any problems before though which is odd. I guess before i just got lucky. In any case i think i am going to get a new speedo anyway hen i can just to be sure and use this one for brushed motors.

if i were you i would just send it in and see... you do not want to buy another motor and have it burn up instantly. since you are in socal your turnaround time from ae should be pretty quick
