Default Rewiring GTB 4 Cell

I'm trying to clean up the wiring on my GTB. I'm using it with a brushed motor, so 3 of the GTBs wires are linked together a few inches from the ESC, to merge into a single negative wire.

This is a bit messy, so I'm looking for options to reduce this, as much as possible, to a single wire. Here are the options I'm considering, and I'd like opinions.

First option is to have the wires merge much closer to the ESC. This seems like an easy option at first, but it would be a bit tricky to do well.

Second option is to find a way to "merge" all 3 solder tabs, and have a single wire run from the ESC. I don't know if it could be accomplished by having solder cross over between the tabs, or if soldering a battery bar across the tabs would do the trick.

No third option yet, but if you have any ideas, please let me know.

Jim

I wouldn't mess with the tabs. Way too nice an esc to do that. Go brushless with it, you'll fall in love.

Not every one is able to go brushless ie Tamiya mini guys cant (and i know he races that)

Do a technique called bridging

It is were a piece of solder touches all three tabs and one has a wire comes out of any of the tabs
