I got one of these and am having trouble with it. It wont pick up the transponder unless i put the led right in front of the receiver. Any ideas on how to fix?

Hi there. Make sure that the led is able to send signals through the clear part of the lexan when the body is on. I don't think it works well mounting it near the painted part of the body. I servo taped a piece of lexan, about 3/4"x 2" onto the transponder so that im able to attach the led on to it, exposing it through the window.
