Spektrum 2.0 with digital servos?

Hey guys, will a Spektrum 2.0 work with digital servos? The reason I ask is I have a DX3R and I know the frame rate needs to be 5.5 when used with digital servos, but I did not see that option on the 2.0. Thanks!
