Hi,
I am an avid football fan but my team is 2 states over, and I am able to listen to them in my car radio.
My wife wants to buy me a stereo for christmas, but i only want one that will get the same results as my car (its a 94 oldsmobile so it seems like the radio should be easy to find.
I am looking for recommendation on a home stereo system "around $100' that will pick up the same AM station as my car..
any suggestions I live in PA and the station is in NY..
Thanks

Interesting place to ask this question..
Any AM/FM stereo should work about the same. Most AM radios use a small graphite ferrule wrapped in copper windings for an antanna, the external wire or antanna only affects FM reception. If it picks up your station in the store it should work fine in your home.
