Default HELP!! M8 issues!!!

i have an airtronics m8, have used the spektrum pro module for years. Last week I picked up a module for it to control my mini-z's with . I put it in tonight to run my mini-z's and it wouldnt power up.
So ithought great I bought a junk mini-z module!
Put the spektrum module back in and it STILL wont power up!!
Transmitter batteries are at full charge, but you slide the switch and nothing!I know it worked before I put the module in because i powered it up to check the battery meter.
Help guys any body have any Ideas????

My M8 occasionally does this. The first time it happened, I took the radio apart to see if a wire came loose. None had. I fiddle around with the battery tray to make sure it was connecting to the internal leads and it came back on. I had it happen again last week and all I did to "fix" it was to pull the battery tray back out and gently slide it back in and then it would come on.

this happened to my M8 right before heading out to a major race. found out it was a small fuse inside about the size of a pin head had let go. Had a guy fix it. ran great for about 8month now it won't power up again. going to send it in to airtronics for a repair.

you might have to do the same.
