Default Brushless question (from a brushed racer)

Sorry if this is a little dumb but........

Do I have to use a Mamba Max ESC if I have a Mamba 7700kV motor? Or can I use any brushless ESC?

You can use it with other "sensorless" ESC...

The LRP Sphere and the Novak GTB are "sensored" ESC...

If you are going to go brushless... and race... go with "sensored". Sensorless motors sometimes cog (studder when starting up)..

So I'm guessing that this 7700Kv motor is only good for bashing right? Is it worth anything to sell?

Default Fast

The mamba motors are fast but not the highest quality there is. I had one that the bearing went bad in and found that the rotor was way out of balance. The Mamba max speed control is very good Imo.

Thanks for the help everyone. I'm gonna put it up in the for sale section. I just don't have any use for it.
