I bought a 2nd one for my Slash. I already had one in my son's Slash.

This is brand new out of the box and it has 1/2 the range my son's has.

I was thinking about swapping receivers to see if it the TX or RX.

Any other suggestions?

do your swaps, but likely the Rx wire was defective. you can try opening the case and seeing if the lil pop-on connector was off from factory, if it is, try it to see if its good now. if not, back to horizon for warranty it'll go. sorry. at least their good about it.

i'd honestly try and get outta the radio, see if the Rx is fixed, returning the radio.
