Default SR3000 RX binding problem...

I just installed a SR3000 reciever in my RC18R. I have a futaba system. I binded the reciever to my controler and the car worked fine. But when I turned off my car and then turned it back on, only the steering worked but no throttle. I then have to bind the reciever to the controller again in order to run the car.

I have to do this everytime I turn off the car. I run a stock 18R with a lipo 7.4V battery. Anyone know what might be the problem???

Again I have to bind the car everytime to my controller and if I turn off the car then turn it back on after binding, then I only get the steering with no throttle..

Can anyone help me out..

thanks

is your antenna bent over at the end or is there any frayed wires on the rx antenna?

Actually yes..

It is in my RC18R, so I coiled over and around the antenna tube..

can't do that with a spektrum or it loses bind. You'd be better off with a 1.6" antenna

How this...

when I put in another receiver, the same thing. I bind it, then I can run it (throttle and steering working), But when I turn it off and turn it back on, same problem..only steering with no throttle.

I put the same receiver into my EREVO and wallah!!! not a problem at all..what da hell is up with that.

Does it have to do because the Voltage is not enough in the RC18R? I use a LiPo 7.4V battery and using the stock ESC and motor in the 18R. But for it to happen to both receiver's...its gotta be the car..

Any work on this??

One of the reasons I got rid of my RC18t was due to it not working with spektrum. Not sure the reason behind it but you may want to try running it with a regular radio.

Have you tried resetting your esc instead of rebinding? I remember having to do that every time I turned on my RC18t. Might be easier.

So if I reset the ESC, then the problem should go away?

Also good to hear it's just not me...
