Helios Question

Ok so I want to swap the battery tray out for a lipo pack. I get the lipo battery and had to reverse the + and - to charge it for some reason(its noe configured as if I were using it to power a reciever).
So before plugging it into the radio and possibly wiring it backwards a causing a short in my brand new radio I wanted to know if someone from KO could tell me of the 3 pole's in the radio which one is +,- and since there is a third I can only assume its a dummy pole? The manual says to plug it in and even shows an illustration but it doesn't show a red or black for + or - so I'm not sure what is what.
Again I am only assuming but I would think the + for the battery tray and the + for the plug would be on the same side but I want to be sure before I power up.
Any insight would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Joe,
The black wire should be in the middle and the red to the RIGHT of that. So if you're looking down at the radio, the red wire/+ pin is the one closer to the back of the radio, or furtherest away from the steering wheel side.
By the way, the lipo is amazing. I have the Losi one and it lasts for about 12-13 hours. And the balance is perfect once you take out the stock antenna (assuming you're using 2.4).
Hope that helps,
Jon
