Default Throttle stop?

I currently run a Nitro Rustler and its a little tooo much for my kids to run. I was thinking of going electric since the power is a little easier to regulate for the kids. Is there any way to set something like a throttle stop on the controllers.

Ideally I would like a radio set up where I can have different programs. One for me and also a setting for my kids with less throttle. Maybe even a setting so I can run on my Notro's

Any suggestions on a radio set up that will do this?

if your radio has endpoint (many do, most rtr radios dont though). u could set it that way. you should really. ur kids are smart i'm sure they'd rip it off lol. used to be with speedo's that had pot adjusters on it u could turn the high down that way. all thats gone with electronics. so ideally score somethin with endpoint in the radio so that it'll help them and be somethin u can use when u want to run.

some new rtrs come with speedos that have beginner modes too (think traxxas does that)

Ya, I agrere.. you can set the EPA (End Point Adjustment) lower on the Nitro to limit the throw.

If you go electric, be sure to turn the EPA all the way up before setting up the ESC with the controller so you can then limit the top end. I actually had to do this with one of my cars for me recently. I was running a stupid fast 3.5bl in my XXX-4. Turned it down to 60%.. otherwise all I could do is donuts!
