You can use any of the newer 75MHz receivers (KR-301F & KR-302F) with your Tx. You can also install and use the 2.4GHz system. Functions in the Mars and Mars R are the same, but the Mars R has more model memory and faster response.

Mike-

If your crystal says 40.895MHz FM, then you have a 40MHz system. You will need another 40MHz FM crystal set. If you want to use 75MHz, then you will need a 75MHz module, 75MHz crystal set and 75MHz receiver.

Do you still have your manual? If you do, it should tell you how to increase brake/reverse percentage. Your brake/reverse percentage might be 0%!

I think you might need to go back to basics, if you still have your manual then go make yourself a coffee and sit down and read threw the manual and set you radio back to it's box stock settings and readjust for your car. Once you have read threw the manual to see how everything is adjusted you will find that the questions you are asking are very simple to solve. Also be sure to read the section about system level and start back at level 1 until you understand more about your radio.

Check your speed control, too.

If you have a reverse speed control that is capable of of reverse lockout, the way to cure that is to turn off your ESC on the switch, press and hold the setup button while off and then turn your ESC on. Your reverse should be back to normal now.
