Is it possible that a ECS wont turn on if the switch is bad even though the switch is on? Reason being is that I've been having troubles getting the ECS green light to come on after the switch is turned on. Switch is on but no lights on ecs and the steering doesn't work either. It seems i have a messed up switch. when the kit was running, and landed a jump, it would cut in and out. I believe i messed it up by not putting servo tape on it. It was just kinda in thier. Would i beable to install a Mini toggle instead of this little switch Nub thing?
Thanks
Thanks

Thanks Timmay , yeah i think the internals are bad too. I dont know why they make these switches so small. I can hardly get my finger to switch the thing.
So, do you think if i replace the switch the ECS should turn on. I know i didn't fry it because i went racing Sunday, But it was being jumped and tumbled pretty good, the switch that is.
Would it make a difference if i told you after the race i was driving through the field and my Evader just Cut out. The Lights on the ecs wouldn't come on, the steering servo Jacked it self to the one side, wouldn't steer, But all wire were connected and switch was on. I took it home too figure out why the servo wasn't working. It's metal geared so i took it apart while leaving it hooked to the Ecs and hooked up a fresh charged battery turned the switch on and the servo motor started to Spin all the way in one direction, NOT Stoping even when i turned the wheel on my remote.
So i put it back together just as i took it out and tried the same. New charged battery, servo still hooked to the ecs. This time since it was all together, i turned the switch on and the servo spun in the same direction, Locking to the one side, even while turning with the remote.
Ecs/Reciever seems to not be getting any power. Idk, can some one help.
I'm thinking
A. Need a new switch
B. Need a new switch and servo
Any thoughts on ECS,Switches, and servos not working would be awesome.
Thanks, driftnut
