Looking for a Brushed/Brushless ESC
 

I have a xxx-t mf2 with a P2K2 stock motor and a Novak Explorer 2 esc. That esc is really old, like at least 5 years old, and it is really choppy on accelration and it doesnt brake!!!! So I was looking for a new one. I dont care about price right now as I just want suggestions. I am looking for a brushed/BL esc that has different throttle profiles like the Novak GTX ESC. Like profile 1 is really aggressive (like a ultra tight slipper) and 5 is more calm on accelarion like a really loose slipper. So I was looking for the Novak GTX but that is only brushed. Then I looked at the XBR Sport esc as it does brushed/BL motors but it has 4 throttle profiles and only 1 is for brushed race mode and i dont know if I can choose how aggressive it is like the Novak GTX esc. So can I change it? I also looked at the GTB esc but there was only 1 mode for brushed racing. Any suggestion are welcome.

Take a look at the features/specifications and new programmability of Novak's SLYDR (GTB) controller:

The new SLYDR allows additional programming for the Drifting users, but it is also an upgraded GTB for all users. It features a single motor mapping area, instead of separate profiles.

It is the same price as the regular GTBs.

I dont think it can run brushed though.

I am pretty sure those are sensorless esc's meaning they are no good for racing. thanks for the suggestions though.

I believe the model Banzai is selling will do brushed motors as well.

Does it fix the issue of burning up when the steering servo is moved when off?

Those Tekin one's are too expensive. I found a novak gtx on ebay for $40 buy it now plus $5 shipping. Good deal? anybody have any experience with the gtx and would you reccomend it?

gtx is brushed only has been out for about 3-4 years! not going to work for brushless!
