I know it only does brushed, but for $45 for something that is $150 new is a great deal IMO.

Yes. All GTBs, including the new SLYDR have been updated.

Excellent, thank you. Is it by the inline diode, or is there now an internal fix? Still a 6v BEC? What about a replacement unit from about March, can I get it updated? How many questions are allowed in one post?

I think you about hit your quota....;)

SLYDR BEC remains the same (6V/3A), all the new GTB boards have been internally updated.

As for remanufactured, most GTBs are probably inline diodes. We can only rmf units that are returned to us; and we usually try to replace items with the same version that we get back.
