DX3R binding issue

How do you power the reciever when the bind plug is connected? Says to power the reciever and the LED will flash. No luck. If I plug the battery in to the aux it's a solid light. I'm either really dumb or have one of those duds. I can't get the rx to bind. :flaming::flaming::flaming: Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Check the polarity of the plug going into the receiver. If you have the plug from the ESC or receiver pack backwards it can cause an issue similar to what you describe.

Other than the above, you can always try the tried and true "refer to the instruction manual" method of figuring it out.

I'm probably wrong but doesn't the battery plug go in the "battery" terminal and the bind plug into aux channel?

No, battery plug goes into aux and the bind plug into the bind/batt plug. The manual is unclear about this and it's not on their crap website that didn't even have a downloadable version of the manual last time I checked...

Did you figure this out? I am having the same problem. I connect the battery to the aux and the binding plug to the batt/bind. What I get is just solid dimmed light, no blinking for binding mode. Please help...Thanks in advance...

Figured it out already

It was just plugged it the wrong way ( polarity issue oopppss) Radio is now binded to the receiver.

OK, I've read just about every page on this binding issue.

I am running lipo w/regulator for my receiver.

This is my 3rd receiver model (no issues with unbinding). I installed the binding plug as instructed, hooked up my battery and turn the unit on. A blinking LED indicates it is in binding mode. Selected a new model, went to bind, the transmitter acts like it is binding, here a small beep like it is bound but the LED is still blinking. The other 2 turned solid LED when it bound. I have tried this many times with the same result.

I have even reversed my battery connection, with same results. I took the binding plug out and plugged in the battery in the battery slot and it still blinks like it is in binding mode.

Has anyone have had this type of issue?

Thanks,
Tom
