Default Trinity DPD to cycle Lipo batteries?

Anyone tried using the external leads on a Trinity DPD to discharge a lipo in order to get some data from the battery? In theory this would work by setting the discharge cut-off to 1.0 volts for a 6-cell pack which makes the total cut-off voltage 6.0. However, I'm worried the higher discharge-rate (C-rating) of a lipo could fry the external leads. So, anyone tried this yet? I'm all done with Ni-Mh and I've got two DPD's that are just sitting in their original boxes and my Hyperion charger will not discharge lipo batteries. Any info is much appreciated!!

There's really no need to cycle lipos in the same way as you would a Ni-based pack. You'd only would have to worry about discharging a lipo to a certain voltage for storage.

I have done it.It works fine. 30A is 30A no matter the power source. But you don't have to cycle LiPos regularly to maintain them.
