Default Stupid charging question

Here is a stupid question: Is it ok to charge your 12 volt Gel acid starter box battery (Big sqaure one that goes inside your bump/starter box) with a peak charger? (such as the Charge it all sport?) Dont want to mess either one up.
Thanks in advanced!

There are some chargers that will charge Lead Calcium Batteries. The Triton is one that will, and I have one and have charged them with it with no problems. I've heard others state that they have charged with a regular NiMh Charger (The older High End Tekin) at 1 amp without problems, but I won't recommend it with out testing it out for myself, and since I now am using LiPo's in my starter boxes, I don't forsee testing it.

LiPo's are the wave of the future, and offer superior performance over the NiMh or Lead Calcium Batteries that we've been using. If you can afford it, I'd get a good high end LiPo Balance Charger, and start getting into the LiPo scene. I feel you'll be much happier in the long run...
