I was under the impression they had 4 model but a friend was telling me
that only the newer dx3 has 4 the older have 3 model memory can anyone
shed some light on this ??

DX3.0 has 4 Model memory that I know for sure.

They are 2 different radios: DX3 and DX3.0. They are visually different. The 3.0 screen is tilted, the 3 is not. The 3.0 has 4, the 3 has 3 as I understand it.

Thanks for clearing that up. i was a little nervous there as i had never heard of the DX3. It turns out the auction i won has the 3.0 but was listed as DX3 in auction
