looking for a charger
#1
Nothing too fancy, but something to replace my dying ICE
Here's what i'm looking for in a charger.
6 amp charge rate
Lipo support
dial is not acceptable.
DC only is fine, I have a power supply.
Low cost.

Note that's it's DC only. Haven't found this version sold in the states yet, but it only took 5 days to get to me from Japan.

the MRC 989 is a good charger, commonly overlooked by many.
10 amps charge rates, no dials, has a bunch of bells and whistles, great value, its a good charger. i have charged everything, including Apogee and Orion lipos, and had great success.

I agree MRC got a bad rap for the 969 screwup charging lipos. But I have a upgraded 969 and 977 and they both do a great job charging lipos abosolutely no problems. But I believe the MRC 989 does not fit the users needs. Great charger
