I've got the Hyperion EOS0606i AC/DC and I love it. I guess the only downfall is it only charges up to 6amps, but that's cool with me. I think for $150 and no need for a power supply, it's hard to beat!!

Charging at 1C (4.5 amps) it takes around 60 minutes to fully charge the 4500 Li-Pro pack.

Realistically more like 90 or so minutes if you want a 100% charge. You got to remember that once the pack gets up to around 8.1v the charger starts backing off the current.

but as theres no memory effect you dont need to worry about undercharging

Possibly longer than that if the battery is close to full discharge, and is properly charged to 8.4v. As the current drops on the charger, its obviously gonna take longer than feeding 4.5 amps constantly. I think for a fully charged 4500 it would take less than 3 hours to complete.

*Note* ICE charger is good...High five

I just picked up a Hyperion EOS0610i Charger. Granted it still requires a power supply. Can anyone recommend one? I can charge up to 10 amps, and it has model memory. Only two reasons I went with it over the 606i. I have heard nothing but great things about the Hyperion lineup.

I have used a Actro Flight 109 for the last 3 years and have had great luck with it. It will charge up to 8 cells at 8 amps. You will need a power supply.

I have seen lots using the Hyperion line of chargers and they always have nothing but good things to say.

I found this rebadged version of a Hyperion and was thinking of giving it a try.
