Default Battery Charger Question, Help Please.

I have an older tekin bc 112 a and c chargers. I have charged my 3000mah nimh batteries on it in the past with no problems at all. So I may have already answered my own question here, but here goes.

Can these chargers charge nimh batteries? I heard they where only for the nicads and seen a lot of talk on here about getting chargers that can do both.

Also will it damage the batteries if I continue doing this?
TIA

By damage what do you mean? I already have used them quit a few times and do not see any problems yet. I am not sure if the charger is only for nicads though?

Its the charging method used on ni cads that are different.
I think that only some old charges can charge Ni mih and i remember A Tekin was one of them. It was the top of the range one.
If it charges in pure Linear it will be fine. Flex is a big No No. The Delta peak is another problem as they are a lot lower for Ni Mih. This is why it was so expensive to update to Ni Mih as you really need to change charger.
If you spent big money on packs why would not get a charger for them as you can pick on up a lot cheaper these days. .. Its not worth the risk..
