Default LRP tc comp help !!!!!!!

I just installed an LRP tc comp, novak 13.5 3413 pro stock BL w/ 13mm tuning rotor.I went thru all the settings and my one concern is the punch control (adpc).I set it at level 1 and when i give it just the slightest bit of throttle it jumps to just about full speed.I then put in -70 % expo and it is a little better, but not as smooth as i expected.I'm sitting on the starting line and trying to get into line up and it is almost impossible cause it just launches forward, but that is just an example of how quick it is.I really am trying to tame it down a bit cause we have a tight track. Is this normal for the #1 setting on adpc or am i doing something wrong.-70 expo seems to be a bit much if you ask me.There are 8 settings in this mode and i can't understand why #1 has to be so aggressive.

Also, correct me if i am wrong, but Novak's term "automatic brake" is what many of us call 'drag brake' right ?.

My settings are

Mode #1 = value 1,lipo
Mode # 2 = value 1
Mode # 3 = value 0
Mode # 4 = value 2

Did you set it up correctly with your radio?

First you set neutral, max throttle and max break positions. Then you do the mode programing. I run 2 4 0 0 with a 3.5 or 4.5 motor. If you run a 13.5 I would suggest you move to something with more punch, at least mode 4. I only go below 4 when I have problem with runtime.

Massive brain fart.I seems that i did not reverse the the throttle and i went ahead and did remaining setup/programming.Then i realized that i had to reverse the throttle and i never went thru the whole setup procedure again.Just now i started from scratch and walah,it works fine.Leave it to me to make such an easy setup seem hard
