GTB question

Do all GTB speed controls have a lipo cutoff built in? If they dont how can I tell if my GTB has it or not. I got this speedo in a trade so I dont know what the package said.

Thanks in advance.

spread spektrum gtb = 100% of them have lipo cutoff

gtb = only the newer ones sold in the last 6-12 months has it.

email novak for the lipo cutoff instructions, u can tell by the lights flashing, too much to type here.

if yours is the older version it may not be but novak has a lipo cut to add to any esc , its called the smart stop

the first gen gtb did not have lipo cut off built in you have to get a separate circuit to shut down the circuit after the voltage drops below 6 volts

here are the lipo cutoff modules http://www.teamnovak.com/products/li...ule/index.html

here is the procedure for the gtb with built in lipo cutoff

lipo safety cutoff

during profile customization press and hold the novak one-touch set-up button until the yellow and red leds turn on simultaneously

ONE BLINK signifies that the safety cut off function is turned off

TWO BLINKS signifies that the safety cutoff is turned on

now when the lipo safety cutoff is enabled at power up the red and yellow leds will blink 3 times in unison to indicate that the cut off is on and active

after the 3 blinks occur the standard red led blue and amber lights will be lit when the cut off occurs the red and yellow lights will toggle

lipo enable disable does not get reset after 1 touch setup that is directly off of the instruction insert i got with my latest gtb

hope that helps brotha
