Default Spektrum SR3000 question.

Hey i just aquire a dx3 with single Sr3000 reciever. But the antanna wire came out of reciever box. Spektrum told me it is just held in by a snap connector on the circuit board. I have pulled the box apart and could not exactly find where it goes. does anyone have a picture of where the wire connects back to? I am fairly good with electronics and would like to try it myself instead of sending back to spektrum even though it is free. Thanks in advance for the help.

I'm shocked that one of the techs told you that, as the antenna's are not user-serviceable. Are you sure they didn't think you were talking about the module, because that does go onto the board via a connector. The antenna wire in the receiver is soldered on as you can see in the picture below. You need to send that in for service I am sorry to say.

If you're fairly good with electronics solder it back on. This is a very basic and common RC repair that I have done countless times over the years. Get the first one under your belt and you'll never have to send something in for a repair like this again.

Replaced servo wires at the board instead of splicing them when damaged many times too.

Post back if you need any help.

If you think you'll screw it up send it in.

I think i am capable fo doing it. My problem is i have no idea where to resolder it. I can not find the point where it had came off. If i could get a picture of where exactly it goes, i can resolder it myself. Anyone have picture to help?
