it seems integy makes some good ones
there like 8$ on there website(yes eight dollars)

I use the Integy Reactor 30, it is a self powered 30A discharger, I dump my packs with that and then throw them on my smart tray to equalize the cells to .09V works great.
just a tip with the reactor, it has a built in fan however when using it back to back it still gets quite hot so if you have another fan lying aroung I would point that at the discharger as well for some extra cooling, I dont think it is necessary but I like my stuff to stay cool.

I've used integy dischargers in the past. The best way I found to manage my batteries is to use a spintec battery manager(v1 or v2), after I'm done racing them. then before I charge them, I put them on a novak smart tray and discharge them to .9volts per cell. Then charge them. With this process in the last year, they maintain a consistant runtime and mah input.

When i used to run Nimh, i would use a discharger i made myself.
it used a large heatsink, 4- 10watt 1ohm ceramic resistors, and some wires. i soldered the resistors all together (parrallel), and soldered wires onto each end (which goes to the battery). you put the resistors on the heatsink using heatsink compound, and vuala! you've got a discharger!
discharge rates vary from 20-30 amps. it worked well. i'd keep an eye on voltage with a volt meter.
cheers!
