Default Duratrax Ice backlight

Hello guys.
In our club (http://www.rc-gojar-z.net/) there are many chargers like this and everyone had bought from ebay hobikit, the backlight kit to connect.
Hobikit has closed past weeks and very people from our club want to buy more backlight kits.
Do you know if there is any site selling it?
Best regards from Spain.

Default strange that they closed???

The hobby kit people do have a website -- http://www.hobikit.com/ice/index.htm

You have probably tried it along with the email at the site, but I thought I'd give it to you anyway.

I got my backlight from ebay from them as well. It works very well.

Hey all,I bought two of the kits off e-bay. Easy to install, but one lasted about 3 months and a few weeks later while workng on the car,my Ice goes up in smoke! turned off the power and took apart,The inverter, for the backlight split open bigtime.Charger still works!!! If you do decide to use them be sure you protect the inverter from the solder (points) in the charger. I used pieces of a old body. Now I just use my pit light.

any one know where to find the inverter for the back light kit? Mine went up in smoke and would like to find a new one. Maybe some one knows the specs on the part?

i have used carribian for my ice backlight. Shipping was a little slow, but directions were well written and worked well. After someone at the track this past week commented on the light, it decides to fail this weekend. I have placed another order with them for another backlight. I never had a problem with them.

I've been looking at on-line electronics stores. I'm not quite sure what I'm looking for though. I don't know the specs for this inverter.
