In my opnion, I would prefer it to stay the same and NOT have it be 2.4 built in. I love the fact that I can change out modules and use either 2.4 or FM. Plus some countries, like Korea, it is illegal to use the 2.4. So you would need to purchace another radio, or use your old one if you ran into this situation if you travelled to a race there as an example. Not only that, I have tons of cars that still have the 75 Mhz receivers in them. So all I have to do is switch out modules. I like the deversity of being able to choose what I want to use. At the recent 1/8th scale on roads World Championship race in Argentina, only 3 guys were using 2.4 out of around 100 racers. That should tell you a bit about personal preference right there. I love the 2.4, but still feel that the good ole crystals or synthesized set up is more reliable and feels a bit faster to me. However this is splitting hairs for me, because when I race I do like the convenience of 2.4 and no one get on my channel causing a fatal runaway. Just my 2 cents worth is all.

The 2.4 GHz that airtronics offers is the module, not built in. It would be the same as putting in the spektrum, but its an airtronics module.

Yeah dude, I saw it on their web site. Very nice, although I didn't read how fast it was compaired to the Spektrum since this is what I have been using for awhile now. This is probably a stupid question, but I wonder if the two different companys could be compatable with each other. Like the Airtronics module and the spektrum receiver. I highly doubt it, but curious as to what the difference is. Anyway, it sucks that it takes Airtronics soooo long to get up to par with certain things. They took forever as well on the release of their synthesized module compared to Novak at the time. But I trully prefer the end product that Airtronics comes out with. But with me having about 8 spectrum receivers and it not being compatable with Airtronics, no sence in the purchase. Oh well.

is it the same old www.airtronics.net site? do they have another website with hopefully more information on their products?
don't get me wrong, i love airtronics/sanwa products but i can't seem to find a decent site which showcase's their products. airtronics.net doesn't show any m11R, or even just the full features of m11.
