With the handfull of engines I have modded I can also write that I have done 947 engines.

they're definitely using an OEM - it's just not possible for a 1 man business to design, manufacture, and develop firmware for a truly custom one-off ESC. With that said, one thing many OEMs are great at is allowing the customer to spec out a product however they want, so even if the ESC is coming from ZTW it's still more likely than not that you can't get the exact same ESC anywhere other than PPRC.
Besides, there can't be any more than 5 ESC OEMs in the world (honestly I'd be surprised if t was more than 3), but there sure is a heck of a lot more ESC brands being sold than that.

Point is we can't know for sure so it feels weird to dogpile on him for something you can't even verify. Meanwhile he's publicly beefing with Exalt and it's... not a good look.
Can't wait to see your ESC hit the market. When you do expect it will be ready to sell?

All that is possible but all that is also speculation. Only Brian and his OEM will know exactly what's in those ESCs, and it's also entirely possible Brian paid to have his own unique features put in especially for his ESCs and only his ESCs - that's another things OEMs will do.

Of course I know ZTW is the manufacturer for both, along with Trinity, Fantom, Reds, etc… I’ve owned all of these mentioned besides Reds. They all drive completely differently… You can literally hear the Trinity screaming when you hit the brakes over all the cars on the track. Just because they’re all manufactured in the same place does not mean they’re the same ESC. Some won’t pay for premium components, and the programming is absolutely different from manufacturer to manufacturer. I’m unbiased, which is why I’ve tried so many different brands. But when one stands out above the rest, I’ll give credit where it’s due. The Pro Performance ESCs and servos are the best I’ve tried. I’ll take my firsthand experiences over your online “research” any day. Lol

The definition of "Skeptical" is "to have a doubt." In other words, being skeptical is the same as having an opinion. So, your opinion is "It isn't a fact until it is proven." Everyone has a right to their own opinion.

The only problem i see is that when asked to "PLEASE send me my money back" the only response if the product hasn't shipped should be "YES absolutely". Afterwards if Brian doesn't want him on the team anymore he has the right to kick him out. But to say your only option is A) Patience or B) Get kicked out.... I have a problem with that.
Either ship the guys things out or refund him his money if you cant ship it out because you're to busy. Its honestly pretty simple and it would have never came to this.... My .02

I agree. That Brian guy seems a little arrogant in his responses. That customers reply didn't sound unreasonable at all. You have a company that brags about supporting it's racers, but you can't even get them the product in a reasonable time or respond in a professional way. I get he's busy, but that should be a disclosure right before checking out. "Due to the high volume of sales, please expect a delivery time of up to 3 weeks. Your patience will be greatly appreciated."
With that guy's feedback, Brian probably lost a couple dozen customers due to the fear of being scammed.

The lesson here should be that if someone pays for a product (Regardless of who the seller is) and then request a refund as long as it hasn't shipped an immediate refund should be sent. If that had happened this thread would not be what it is today. I'm not just talking about Pro Performance but any business that sells and ships stuff out.

If you create online a shipping order then yes, you get the info a shipping order was made and with that a tracking number. As long the tracking does not go into received package then it is still at the shop.

FYI, this guy Brian Mills just posted on the Facebook page "iCharger Info/Tips/How-to’s Group" an advertisement for the 100 amp ANNIHILATOR discharger. And surprise, the discharger is out of stock. But of course they'll still take your money.
