Hobbywing Xr8 pro G2 programmer compatibility

I’ve searched and I’ve gotten mixed answers. Will the new hobbywing programmer work with the older XR8 Pro G2 ESC?

Even Hobbywing couldn’t give me an answer which sounds real stupid.

Seems like I looked into this before and I want to say that it won’t work but I’m not 100%. Do yo have the WiFi module?

I don’t have anything, been out of the hobby for years and starting over. I don’t even have rx/tx or a charger yet lol
