Default Hobbywing ESC: Switch Wiring

Good afternoon all,

I recently picked up a used Tekno RC E48. In disassembling the buggy, I noted that my ESC switch wires were smooshed / torn off the ESC main body. I’d like to attempt repair before buying a whole new ESC. I've got solid soldering skills, I think splicing the wires shouldn't be a problem even if I need to open the ESC case.

I know Hobbywing ESC switches generally have 3 or 4 wires (black / white / red) and 2 switches, an on/off switch and a momentary for mode / programming. When I re-construct this harness anyone have guidance on the power switch / momentary wiring?

I'd love to post photos, but I need to increase my post count first...

Thanks for your help,

BAMNQ6

It shouldn't be a problem, just open the case and hopefully there's enough wire left on the ESC that you can see what went where. If not, tell us what you have and we can probably tell you the order. I've replaced and repaired switches on several ESC without issues.
