RMS Dyno HELP!
Hello,
I really need some help with my RMS dyno. The arduino board that controls it fried and i'm kind of stuck. I'm hoping someone who knows MR-RMS can reach out and convince him to burn me a new board. If not, I have a brand-new board, but that doesn't help me much without the code to load on it. Is there anyone willing to work with me on on copying their dyno's main board configuration. I'm reading it's fairly easy to do using the avrdude utility and connecting your dyno to your computer. |
Why ask again?

I'm in real bind here and I need to get this fixed asap, hoping someone sees this and can help

Well, how fried is fried, lol? Also what dev board is it? The reason I ask... If the microcontroller onboard the dev board is fried, you aren't getting the code off of it. But if the microcontroller is good, yes you can get the code off of it. But, if it is an Uno, you can just pop out the atmega chip and put it into your new board as the Uno uses a dip chip that is seated in a socket.

Very fried, it let the smoke out. The controller is cooked. I was also hoping to maybe find someone that has a working dyno that would be willing to help me copy code off of theirs.

And what is the reason it is cooked? If you put in a new Arduino there is a high chance it will give smoke as well.
