Default Constant power kill switch?

Hello!

Im new to the RC world, and I DIYer.

I'm using a HOTRC DS-600, a 35kg servo winch for a small drawbridge, and a 25kg servo for a button pusher.

I bought a 6v 3a power supply from Servo City, and they told me that this would work, but I wanted to get y’all’s opinions.

My idea is to replace the battery that is connected to the transmitter to this power supply, so that I can just turn on the remote and use it whenever I want to and not have to worry about keeping a battery plugged in.

Do y’all see any issues with that? Is there another way to do this? Thank you!
