Default Common programming box

Hi - I own two ESCs, but new to the hobby I bought used and whilst happy the items are working, I want to reset the ESCs and configure myself. The ESCs are;

Hobbywing 160A Xerun XR10 Pro G2
Hobbywing Xerun XR10 Pro Stock Spec V4 Sensored Brushless ESC 80amp

Is there a common programming box for these ESCs? Are there better options than a plug-in box?

Both with work with the latest Hobbywing options. There's a Bluetooth dongle to use with a phone app if you prefer that over a plug in box.

Is it robust? All kinds of complaints on the Play Store about it crashing and failing to update. 2.5 out of 5 from ~400 reviews.

Is there a discrete box compatible with both ESCs?

Works for me, but yes there are a couple discrete box options that work with both. There were some crashing issues a few months ago but I doubt people go back to edit their reviews after it's fixed.

They recently released a new program box which SHOULD be easier to use

or you can use the old one

Zoomies likes this.
