Sanwa m17 ?

Do the Sanwa m17’s not work good with the RX-482 ? I’ve got 2 cars I’ve binded up to my m17 with the 482’s and they seem to take forever to connect when turned on and now my second car , will run when I the air , but as soon as I put it on the ground it won’t move under its own weight , just glitches . Several problems I didn’t have with the m12 . Any help is appreciated.
Both setups have a Tekin rsx pro , one with a 10.5 and one with a 17.5 .

Never had any problems whatsoever with that combination, and I own quite a few.

Now , when it finally connects and does the beeps , the throttle just engages and goes full throttle . And it taking a while for the RX to connect when both are turned on .

Issues resolved , but the lengthy connection when powered on is irritating, I’m wondering if that’s why the other person sold it (482) ?

Are you using 1 TX w/2 482's? You should use 2 Model Memories. Calibrate each ESC to each to model memories separately.

Friend of mine told me Cut off voltage could be set too high. See if its too high, then lower it 3.2V. Good luck!!!

M17

I’ve now put a new 492i RX on the car and still , when powered on , the TX and RX take like a minute or longer to connect , and then the esc lets me know that I’m connected . I’ve changed the lipo cutoff to 3.2 , bec is at 6v . I’m not finding anything in the manual , any help is appreciated guys .

Never seen or heard of such a problem. Sorry, no idea what might cause it. All M17s I've seen connect instantly to their receivers when powered up.

damn , don’t remember, I watched like 20 of them before I found the one that covered the epa’s on throttle and steering , I had my steering epa’s set already , but for whatever reason I spaced the throttle adjustments .

EPA shouldn't cause a delay in the receiver initialising though.

yea , I don’t know , that’s all. Changed was my epa’s on throttle with the car that has the new 492i , so I then went to the car with the 482 and changed those settings and everything started working as it should . I tried the lipo cutoff settings first thing this morning , from 3.4 to 3.2 and that changed nothing, made sure I was 6.0 on the bec , nothing , put the 492i in when it got here from usps , nothing, played with the epa’s and everything started to work .
