Is it a fact that the MT12 can't be converted to left hand steering? Thought it could bases on the screws and cover on the left side, it would be awesome. Thinking in getting back at it and sold my sanwa m12 unfortunately

There's a left-hand plastics kit available, but you need to pull the radio apart and put into the new enclosure. It sounds a bit involved but I'm sure it's relatively straightforward.

If you're talking about this, I think you're wrong.

Since the main board and switch board of MT12 are asymmetrical, it is very difficult to change to a left-handed version.

It is, but it would be very silly (and unlikely) for RM to sell that case and not have tested it...

I think what is being sold on this page is not a "right-handed case and a left-handed case" but simply "right and left halves of the case."
I agree that the way Radiomaster is written is strange.

By the way, I am currently working on the problem of control lost in MT12 (elrs).

As far as I know now, the problem has not occurred up to ELRS3.3.0, but if you update to 3.3.1 or later, you may frequently lost control.
I have already experienced many crashes.

Strictly speaking, this is not an MT12 problem, but an ELRS problem. The cause is not yet known, but it seems to be a problem specific to the ELRS PWM receiver.

You are correct, I got a reply from their customer service overnight and it is not possible to swap the steering wheel to the other side. That's unfortunate, guess i will be shopping for another old M12

i have had this problem a few times but it seemed to happen after i wreck but that might have been a coincident. the first time it went real slow in a circle and the second time it happen it was partial throttle luckily strait towards me. not sure why it didnt stop. the max10 esc should stop when it looses signal. i thought it may be the servo drawing to much current from the bec at 7.4v so i backed it down to 6.0v. i did run a whole pack after that and it didnt cut off but i will have to test it more.

This problem is not a lost link between the transmitter and receiver, so the failsafe will not activate.
When this problem occurs, receiver will hold the last state for 10 seconds.
In my case, I lost control on the straight at maximum speed and crashed into a fence at full throttle.
I can't say for sure, but in my testing, the problem does not occur with 3.3.0. I recommend using 3.3.0 until the cause is determined and the bug is fixed.
