Temps are low. Around 115deg.

Only one straight so your probably right, I need to gear for more torque

Do you know the run length of the track and the time you are looking for?

It’s definitely worth it to get a set of pinion gears. I like the ones from yeah racing. They aluminum so no steel interface, nice coating to keep noise down, and a set of 6 in a nice box. I got 3 sets to have covered from 21-38

I definitely need to invest in a set of pinions. Currently I only have a 29, 30 and 31. I’ll check out the Yeah Racing brand, I’ve heard good things about some of their parts they sell

So, what do you all think about a Surpass Rocket V5R 17.5T. Are they able to compete with $100 motors?
